New Features For NFSU 2
Some new features of Need for Speed Underground 2 have been released by Electronic Arts today. One of the most exciting enhancements to the sequel is the massive size of the game’s city; which will feature over 200k of road, a massive five times more than the 2003 original. The city will have five distinct areas, each with their own distinct elements including road surfaces and hazards. Obviously one of the attractions of the original game was the customisation options, and once again, this year’s release improves on its predecessor with over twice the number of possible combos. The options available will include audio setups, doors, neon, spoilers – the works. With all these enhancements, you’ll have to take time to fine-tune the car, and Underground 2 has all the bases covered with a wide variety of tuning options. The use of Nitrous Oxide (NOS) has also been developed in Need for Speed Underground 2, with the emphasis being placed on a more ‘Arcadey style’, where you’ll gain access to more NOS as you rack-up the styles points. Away from the cars, the game will also feature three new game modes, but EA have not released the details to them yet…fans of the original need not worry however, because the Circuit, Drag, and Drift modes will all be back for this year’s release. As previously reported, FHM’s sexiest number 10, Brooke Burke, will be your guide in the game and in an interview with the NfSU2 official micro-site; Producer Greg Uhler reveals that Burke’s character Rebecca will be, “one of three or four main characters in the story that you meet.”Source: http://www.totalvideogames.com
