Silent Hill 5 Set For Next Gen Systems
There’s just one month to go now until Silent Hill 4 begins its reign of terror, but chief designer Masashi Tsuboyama has said in that the next instalment of the long-running horror series will be now be heading onto next generation platforms. But will it be PS3 or Xbox 2? Well we can’t exactly say yet, as publisher Konami apparently has yet to make up its own mind, but at a recent press event the Silent Hill 4 team took a little time out from their busy schedules to confirm that Silent Hill 5 will be definitely be heading for the next gen. However Tsuboyama-san also had much to say on some of his horror influences, citing Carrie as his favourite horror film and expressing much admiration for the work of maverick director David Lynch. What may surprise many fans is that SH4’s devs have attempted to inject the odd piece of humour into the game, so keep a close out for Robbie the rabbit. Don’t ask us, we’re not telling.
