Eidos Confirms Championship Manager 5
Eidos today shocked the gaming community with confirmation that the forthcoming Championship Manager 5 would be released for the Xbox and the Playstation2. Eidos previously released a version of Championship Manager for the Xbox, however quite how the Playstation2 version will fare without a hard-drive remains questionable. Jonathan Kemp, European managing director of Eidos says: "This is a great opportunity for us to build upon the phenomenal success of the Championship Manager brand by taking it to a whole new audience. We have long been aware of the great demand among PlayStation 2 owners to experience the worlds most successful and realistic football management game. Our new technology being developed for Championship Manager 5 has been designed in a way to enable a faithful recreation of the Championship Manager experience on PlayStation2 and Xbox." The game is currently in development at Gusto Games and is scheduled for release in early 2005; we’ll have more information soon.Source: http://www.totalvideogames.com
