Ty The Tasmanian Gets A TV Show
Krome Studios, creators of the whimsical Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series of platforming games, announced today that it is working with DPS Film Roman -- the animation company behind The Simpsons and King of the Hill -- to create television and DVD features starring the sassy tiger. "This is an incredible opportunity for the TY the Tasmanian Tiger franchise," said Robert Walsh, chief executive officer of Krome Studios. "The light-hearted humor and mad-cap adventures of the games will be brought to a new medium and wider audience. With DPS Film Romans experience breathing life into animated stars such as Hank Hill to Homer Simpson, our boomerang-wielding Tasmanian tiger has prestigious company."
