New Details On Juiced

Juiced is certainly making itself a prime candidate for our 'most wanted' lists this year because of its great looks and high-octane modding action. Now Acclaim has just released some exclusive details and three spankingly gorgeous movies so you can experience Juiced's unique blockbusting Show-Off mode for yourselves. Juiced is all about customising your motor, and according to Acclaim what every real-life modder craves is attention and respect, roughly in equal measures. Show-Off mode is exactly where you'll get both, being a true freestyle event where you've got limited time to pull off as many classy or hair-raising manoeuvres as you can to try to win the crowd's approval. But Show-Off's not just for the single player game, it's going to be included for multiplayer and online gaming too. In Online Career mode, you get the chance to go head to head with up to six other petrol heads using any of the cars you have bought or modded in your Career Collection, complete with their personalized paint jobs. You can even compete in a Show-Off Pink Slips event - where the winner not only takes the glory, but the opponent's car too. Quite a coup if you can pull it off online and nick a juicy motor from your mates. In all, Juiced will feature nine distinct manoeuvres to master, from donuts to high speed 360-degree turns, but by linking moves together your score will really hit the stratosphere. Make a mistake though and you'll wipe out all your hard earned points. Once you have mastered each manoeuvre, your mission is to string them together to create a kind of high-speed car ballet. You could start with a half dozen smoking donuts, nitro your way to a maximum speed run, bleed off energy in a sweeping drift around a curve and get ready for the grand final - a 180-degree turn that has you travelling backwards at high speed, ready to execute a classic J-Turn. And to put the cherry on the cake you could finish with another round of donuts followed by a classic handbrake turn. Executed perfectly, this kind of sequence will have the crowd screaming for more and see your score multipliers go through the roof. The more Juiced (ie. modded) your ride, the more respect you'll earn; and where you choose to perform your cunning stunts is key too. Some areas of the city are better suited to Show-Offs than others and only by gaining enough respect to enter different neighbourhoods will you get to see all of Juiced's mean streets. And if you get it wrong, the crowd won't be shy about letting you know, heckling you and taunting you for your poor performance. In the Career mode of Juiced, you'll need to compete in Show-Offs' to gain enough respect to complete the game. While it's not full-on racing, it will teach you dozens of useful tricks for getting out of trouble when you do lose it out on the track. High-scores in Show-Off events are recorded and stored online, and in the Xbox version you don't even have to be playing someone else to get your results up on the global rankings. As long as you have an active Xbox Live connection, your scores will be posted automatically. Anyway that should be more than enough Show-Off details for you to digest right now, now so why not go and check out our ultra hot collection of three exclusive Show-Off movies below. Movies
