Full Spectrum Warrior Goes Gold
THQ announces its highly anticipated Xbox title, Full Spectrum Warrior(tm) has gone gold. Shipping nationwide on June 1, Full Spectrum Warrior is a squad-based, tactical action game that focuses on critical decision making by the Squad Leader (the player). The game is based on a light Infantry training simulator designed by Pandemic Studios for the U.S. Army as a tool to reinforce Army doctrine and team effort among troops, simulating today’s urban combat, peace-enforcement, and peacekeeping missions. In recognition of its level of realism and accuracy that has never been seen in a military-based game, Full Spectrum Warrior has received several industry awards, including the Game Critics Awards for Best Simulation game and Best Original game (E3 2003).
