Gamers Challenge Fable Creator

London. 28th January, 2004 — On the 18th February at 7pm GMT/8pm CET, gamers will get the chance to chat with and play one of the games world’s biggest names, Lionhead’s Peter Molyneux, on Xbox Live. Creator of best-sellers such as Black and White, Populous, Theme Park and Dungeon Keeper, Peter will be hanging out on Xbox Live, along with Simon and Dene Carter from Lionhead satellite group Big Blue Box, ready to take on Europe at Crimson Skies and have a developer chat on Fable. More Big Names Lined up for 2004 The Lionhead "Fable Event" starring Peter Molyneux and Dene and Simon Carter is part of the Xbox Live ’Play the Star’ programme and is just the first of many opportunities Xbox Live gamers will have to take on some of the biggest names in the entertainment world. "We’ve got a fantastic year of exclusive events lined up for Xbox Live subscribers," said Michel Cassius, Senior Director, Xbox Platform and Marketing. "Not only does Xbox Live offer the best online gaming experience, with some of the coolest titles around, but it also gives gamers the chance to go head to head with the biggest stars in music and games." Getting the Chance to Play All Xbox Live subscribers need to do to pit their low-to-the-ground air combat skills against Peter, Simon and Dene’s, is to add their gamertags (Lionhead1 for Peter and Lionhead2 for Simon and Dene) to their friends list. After that, gamers just go onto Live on the 18th February to check out whether they’ll be invited to join in a dogfight. Once gamers are chosen, they’ll be able to chat to the Lionhead team about the much-anticipated Fable...or anything else they’ve ever wanted to find out!
