TimeSplitters 3 in 2005
Electronic Arts and UK-based Free Radical Design have today announced a distribution and publishing agreement for the next game in the TimeSplitters series of first-person shooters. No information on the game itself has been released at this time, except that it will feature online play and is currently scheduled for worldwide release in 2005. Platforms for the game have not been announced, but it seems reasonable to assume that both PS2 and Xbox versions are in development at the very least. "Free Radical has proven itself as a world-class studio by delivering consistently beautiful, exciting and incredibly fun games," said Frank Sagnier, vice-president, Electronic Arts Partners in Europe. "We are thrilled to be working with Free Radical and to be adding a new title to our growing catalogue of externally developed games." "Choosing EA Partners as our publishing partner represents a big breakthrough for Free Radical," added Steve Ellis, chairman of Free Radical Design. "Were already working hard on the next game, and hope that, with the help of EA Partners, we can reach many new players all over the world."Source: http://www.gamespot.com
