New Content For SWON
The second Secret Weapons Over Normandy Xbox Live content package has been released according to word from LucasArts. In this release is a new plane (Imperial Japanese aircraft, the Ki-61) available for use in several game modes including Instant Action, Two Player Missions, and the Single Player Campaign. Also released today is a new camo for G4M1 "Betty" Bombers and a brand new single player mission named "Last Chance!" Flying the Ki-61 "Tony", players must clear the skies of the American Corsairs in order to give the G4M1 "Betty" Bombers a chance to hit the carrier. LucasArts also pointed out that The Air Museum - Planes of Fame located at the Chino Airport in Southern California, will commemorate 100 Years of Flight during a special event on Saturday, December 6th. Why would they tell you that and why would you care - because Totally Games and LucasArts worked closely with the museum to create many of the planes you've been flying and enjoying in SWON. The program will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a seminar discussing the impact of aviation during the 100 years since the Wright brother's first powered flight and will conclude with a Warbird flight demonstration. Check out www.planesoffame.org for details on the event.Source: http://www.gamespydaily.com/
