Montreal, Canada - March 20, 2003 - According to the latest ACNielsen Canadian* market research for the video game industry in the year 2002, Ubi Soft Canada is proud to announce that it has reached the number 6 position for independent video game publishers across Canada "We are extremely happy to have been so successful in the Canadian market," says Olivier Ernst, General Manager. The latest ACNielsen Canada* results show that in the PC division Ubi Soft Canada is now ranked the fifth top independent video game publisher in Canada and seventh in the Canadian console market. These achievements come thanks to the success of several of Ubi Soft Entertainments group of games such as the incredibly well received Tom Clancy line- including Tom Clancys Splinter Cell(tm), Tom Clancys Ghost Recon(tm), and The Sum of All Fears(tm) -, the Chessmaster series, the Myst games, and the well known Rayman family of games. Ubi Soft Canada realized huge growth in the year 2002 which takes them one step closer to the groups ultimate goal of being one of the top-five game publishers in the world by the year 2005.
