Q&A About Rage’s Rocky
The gang over at C&VG have put their minds together and asked Rage Software's Peter Johnson and Mark Sample if they could shed some light on their upcoming boxing game Rocky. During the interview the two men touched base on a wide range of different topics from how realistically they have attempted to replicate the sport, to the boxers that are in the game. Here's a taste:
C&VG: The fights in the movies are obviously quite over the top compared to real life, so how realistically have you attempted to replicate the sport as such?Sample: We spent a great deal of time studying the sport of boxing and made sure that all the punches, combinations, ducks and dodges were included in the game. Both arcade and sports games fans will find that Rocky has an immense amount of visual and gameplay depth when it comes to recreating the "Sweet Science".
