SeaBlade is on the way...
Xbox owners can look forward to yet another Xbox exclusive --or so we hope-- with SeaBlade, the vehicular combat action game currently being developed by VisionScape Interactive and published by Simon and Schuster Interactive. VSI is best known for contributing stellar artwork and cinematic sequences for such popular franchises as Twisted Metal and Everquest. Look for them to put their outstanding visual talent to good use on the Xbox platform with this highly innovative vehicular combat game.SeaBlade will feature players piloting a type of flying submarine or "submersible aircraft" to do battle against hordes of baddies bent on destruction while simultaneously attempting to rescue throngs of innocent hostages.
Expect gameplay to shift seamlessly from sky-based combat to undersea battles below the oceans surface where you will search out under water targets and enemies. VSI wants to add fully articulated vehicles as well as gorgeously detailed environments while staying true to the formula of the non-stop action that powered classic games such as the arcade classic Galaga.
