Brute Force Marketing Campaign
It has been reported by GameSpot that Digital Anvils tactical squad-based Xbox shooter Brute Force (similar to HALO) will launch on the same date (or close to that) Xbox releases in Europe. Microsoft plans to give Brute Force a killer promotion in Europe as part of a large marketing campaign. So its like one of those Jak & Daxter commercials but itll actually be funny if it is trying to. Its the same way Nintendo uses a big cube to show off six different games on six different sides, but with more games at launch. Brute Force will also release in North America in early March, or is on schedule to be. This game will have some RPG qualities, mainly in the character development, and should offer some good eye candy along the way judging from screenshots.
In Brute Force, youll need teamwork to succeed. Each member of a team will have unique abilities, and you cant make it to the end alone so youll have to combine wit and skill... or something fancy like that. Players can play simultaneously as the heavy assault trooper, Tex; the cyborg-enhanced sniper, Flint; the stealthy scout, Hawk; and the powerful feral alien, Brutus. Youll have to get through missions pitting you in four different, distinct worlds filled with challenges and a chock-full of eye candy. So just wait for the commercials to get what im talking sometime in March 2002.
