WW1 FPS Tannenberg is Coming to Consoles
If you have ever played the FPS game Verdun, this news might interest you. If you havent, its worther reading nonetheless. It has been confirmed that more WW1 FPS action is coming to consoles. Gamemill Games and M2H Game Studio are working on bringing Tannenberg to the Xbox One
Tannenberg is the second entry in the WW1 Game Series, following the successful Western Front shooter Verdun. This authentic multiplayer FPS portrays the ferocious battle between Germany, Russia and their allies from 1914-1918.
As with Verdun, accuracy in the details of weapons, uniforms and environments is central. The gameplay in Tannenberg is different to Verdun to reflect the different nature of warfare in the East. Instead of attacking and defending trench lines, you will face more open maps with a choice of sectors to attack, each offering a strategic benefit. Grind your enemy into capitulation by holding high value points, or cut off enemy sectors and ultimately attack their headquarters.
Oh, and one more thing. Before Tannenberg arrives on consoles, there will be a huge update to Verdun on Xbox One bringing all the new squads, maps, bots and other improvements from the PC version of the game to console players.
