Monsters of Mass Destruction Awaken within World of Tanks: Mercenaries
Wargaming.net is screaming from the darkness today to warn World of Tanks: Mercenaries players on consoles of the impending witching hour. Ferocious Monster Tanks are beginning to awaken from their otherworldly slumber as Halloween approaches, intent on wreak havoc on the battlefield. There’s only one way to keep these beasts at bay - with a fully armored assault.
At the end of October players can look forward to slaying beasts, claiming epic content and exploring everything new in World of Tanks: Mercenaries’ Update 4.7!
Monsters Awakened — a limited-time game mode that pits monster against monster in thrilling supernatural deathmatches — will be available from October 26 through October 29! Eight Premium tanks, including the terrifying new Wraith Panzer 58 and Bog Horror, will receive special ‘Awakened’ forms. These unique forms give the tanks unnatural powers, a monstrous new look, and allow them to be used to fight for their afterlives in the spooky Grim Graveyard map! If players don’t have these Premium tanks, the ghostly Spectre tank will be available to use exclusively in the Monsters Awakened mode for a limited time for free.
Before October is over, World of Tanks: Mercenaries’ Update 4.7 drops, featuring new game updates and content unlocks. Players can expect to battle on new maps and face a villainous new gang of Mercenaries. Stay tuned for more information when this update lands on October 30.
More than 700 tanks are presently available in World of Tanks: Mercenaries, and Wargaming has no plans on slowing down. Updates to the Soviet Tech Tree include a new roster of high-tier tanks when Update 4.7 deploys. On October 30, players can work toward unlocking eight new heavy hitters, from Tier VIII to Tier X — Object 430U, K-91, Object 705A, Object 277, Object 268 v4, Object 705, Object 257, and IS-M. Each tank represents the best in Soviet engineering.
When all of the Monster Tanks return to their eternal slumber at the end of October, November brings its own surprises! World of Tanks: Mercenaries celebrates Veterans Day and “Tanksgiving.” Huge XP bonuses, a new nation, and amazing discounts for Black Friday and Cyber Monday arrive this November.
