Dovetail Games Reveals 'Fishing Sim World,' Coming Sept. 18

Dovetail Games has announced Fishing Sim World, a game they say is the most authentic fishing experience ever made. 

As you rise from beginner to pro, you’ll improve your skills, upgrade your equipment and master each environment. Fishing Sim World takes players to seven uniquely challenging and beautiful locations across the U.S. and Europe. Travel from the glacial Lake Boulder of Upstate New York and Florida’s sun-kissed Lake Johnson to the licensed Gigantica Main Lake in France and a challenging stretch of the UK’s Grand Union Canal.

Cast out on your own or with friends in multiplayer for up to four players, comparing catches in real time on the leaderboards. The battle doesn’t end there – compete in live tournaments against opponents from around the world as you fight to be crowned Fishing Sim World champion.

Fish from land, or get out on the water with your boat, using sonar to find the perfect fishing spot. You’ll need every advantage you can get – each of Fishing Sim World’s 18 species of fish has its own advanced AI and behavioural systems. From water temperature to choice of bait, you’ll have to learn how each fish reacts to its surroundings and adapt your strategy to catch your prey.
