World of Tanks Console's May Event Kicks Off
So, if you play World of Tanks on console, then today is your day. Starting today, the massive month-long Soviet-themed fan-event for World of Tanks (console) is live. Throughout the month you can take part in Soviet Dream Machines, exclusive to consoles.
So, what does the May event include? Good Question. You can see below what you can expect all month:
- The return of one of the most popular and rare hero tanks, the near-mythical T-54 Motherland: a prestigious tank, unlockable only by the most skilled commanders;
- Month-long Soviet-themed ops: unlock rewards by destroying others with your Soviet armored vehicle, or, if you prefer, racking up your kills of Soviet tanks;
- The unveiling of Nomonhan, a new map, based on the pivotal Khalkhin Gol tanks battles of early World War II, where Japanese forces tasted their first defeat at the hands of then relatively unknown Soviet tank commander Zhukov; and
- Hero tanks, combat vehicles and other prizes in celebration of the May 9, 2018, release of World of Tanks: Citadel, a new Dark Horse Comics’ comic book series from renowned writer Garth Ennis (Preacher, The Punisher).
