World of Tanks Celebrates 4 years on the Xbox Platform
It was February 12th, 2014 that World of Tanks hit the Xbox 360, and since then it has been added to the Xbox One, Xbox One S and of course the Xbox One X, the latter running in native 4k with HDR implemented.
What is kind of neat is that when the game launched, there were 100 tanks from various countries, and since then that roster has grown to 660 tanks with even more nations included. Wargming loves what they do, and this is evident when you look at the Xbox One X version, which in motion is beautiful, and seems to be a labour of love from the publisher.
To celebrate this momentus birthday, Wargaming is kicking off a series of in-game bonuses & events throughout February. First, players will be receiving a free Ashigaru Te-Ke from Wargaming for logging into the game and winning a match during the anniversary. Additional in-game bonuses will be awarded for playing over the anniversary weekend. This includes x5 experience for the first win and additional tiered-experience multipliers for completing the War Party chained bonus with each additional win along with discounts on Premium Time.
So, wadda say, is it time to daddle up in one of the tanks once again and hit the battlefield with turrets blasting shells and tracks shredding up the ground beneath.
