NFL FEVER ON MONDAY NIGHT
NFL Fever 2002s Simulated Monday Night Highlight Reel Appearing Weekly on Xbox.comToday, Microsoft announced week four of NFL Fever on Monday Night. NFL Fever on Monday Night is a simulated highlight reel that appears every week on www.xbox.com previewing the upcoming Monday night game. All games will be played in incredibly realistic replicas of NFL stadiums with current rosters, using Microsofts NFL Fever 2002 for Xbox to simulate the game.
In three of four simulations, NFL Fever 2002s artificial intelligence has accurately simulated the Monday night game. The seasons lone blemish came last week when the Pittsburgh Steelers thumped the Tennessee Titans (34-7) negating the artificial intelligence prediction of a 27-21 Titans overtime victory.
In this weeks installment of NFL Fever on Monday Night, the Oakland Raiders defeated the Denver Broncos, 17-13 to extend their lead in the AFC West. The Raiders silver and black attack was led by a defense that held the Broncos to 18 rushing yards and the precise passing of All-Pro quarterback Rich Gannon. Gannon completed 10 of 12 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns, including a 95-yard TD strike to the ageless wonder, Jerry Rice.
NFL Fever 2002 is due out in stores with the launch of Xbox on November 15th. The eagerly anticipated football game will feature motion capture and football expertise from All-Pro Quarterback Peyton Manning, music from Public Enemys Chuck D and the hip-hop group N*E*R*D along with play-by-play from Dick Stockton and Ron Pitts.
