Witcher 3 to Become Xbox One X Enhanced
Looks like the folks at CD Projekt RED have been working on making The Witcher 3 even better then it is, as they have been tapping into the power of the soon to be released Xbox One X.
From the sounds of it, it will be getting a bump in resolution to 4K, along with some other visual tweaks such as "higher-quality shadows, ambient occlusion & texture filtering, as well as higher resolution textures". Along with the fancy looks, the Xbox One X is said to give the game an "all-around performance boost".
Interestlngly enough, due to the fact that the game belongs to the Xbox One family of consoles, there were very few, if any issues, that CD Projekt RED noted. They stated that alot of the process was "hassle free" and they had the assistance of Microsoft along the way too.
Of note for those who don’t have a 4K TV, CD Projekt RED states that given the Xbox One X untilizes supersampling, gamers will see the improved visuals on a 1080p TV as well, which we here at XBA think is pretty darn cool.
