PSA - Agents of Yesterday DLC Launches on Xbox One
The development team on Star Trek Online was proud to participate in the 50th anniversary celebration of all things Trek recently, and this has culminated with the release of their latest free expansion, Agents of Yesterday.
For the first time, players can create Starfleet captains set during the time of the Original Series. This allows fans a chance to return to this classic era of Trek, providing the opportunity to join the crew of the Enterprise in exploring the galaxy in the 23rd century. Recreating uniforms, gear, ships, sounds, and settings from the Original Series.
Twelve new Featured Episodes arrive with the free update, taking players on a journey through the 23rd century and beyond. A sweeping.
Several actors from Trek have joined together for this DLC, including Walter Koenig, Chase Masterson, Kipleigh Brown, Matt Winston, and Joseph Gatt. Chris Doohan portrayed the role originated by his father James-Montgomery Scott.
The new update also adds eight new PvE queues and one new Battlezone for captains to team up and tackle threats together. We’re adding three new Reputations and one new Fleet Holding to go along with those. Players can check out a new Captain Specialization as well.
Eight new ships will be available for purchase for Federation captains, and three new ships will be available for all game factions to purchase. Some of them are well-known vessels from Star Trek canon, while others were inspired by ships from various eras in Trek history. Some of these ships are from a possible future in Trek, eras only glimpsed in the canon shows and films.
So there you have it Trekkies, lots of new content for you to enjoy in this recent DLC.
