Titanfall for Xbox 360 will run at 30fps, is the 'true experience'
Titanfall, Respawn Entertainments first-person multiplayer shooter, will be a "true experience" on the Xbox 360 and include all content from the Xbox One and Windows PC versions of the game, Bluepoint Games senior producer Daryl Allison announced via the games official site.
According to Allison, the team wanted to make the Xbox 360 game as good as its other versions. Due to differences in the hardware, however, Titanfall will run above 30 frames per second, rather than 60.
"Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions," Allison wrote. "The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great. There are of course some technical differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware — for example, the game runs above 30fps — but rest assured, the intense 6v6 wall-running, titan dropping action is all there."
Bluepoint was tapped to work on the Xbox 360 edition of the game, which was originally slated for a March release; it was was delayed to April 8.
