Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC delayed on Xbox One
Naval Strike, the third expansion for Battlefield 4, has been delayed on Xbox One.
Originally scheduled for a March 25 release for Battlefield 4 Premium subscribers, developer EA DICE is delaying the release "to address issues in the animation system that hinder players from engaging targets in set circumstances using popular weapon configurations," according to an updated post on the Battlefield blog.
EA DICE announced earlier this week that Naval Strike would also be delayed on Windows PC. The updated post reveals that the developer is aiming to launch the downloadable content early next month on both delayed platforms.
"We are trying to resolve these problems as quickly as possible and hope to release the update in early April for Xbox One and PC," the post reads. "We also want to remind Xbox One and PC owners of Battlefield 4 Premium that they will have two weeks early access for Naval Strike once its released. Thanks for your continued patience and passion for our games."
Naval Strike launched yesterday for Battlefield 4 Premium subscribers on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360. It will be released for non-Premium members at a later date.
The Xbox One delay is the latest in a series of post-launch problems with the game.
