Forza 5 Limited Edition, Day One launch editions detailed
Microsoft and developer Turn 10 Studios are offering buyers of Forza Motorsport 5their pick of two collectors’ editions, a Limited edition and a Day One edition, according to a post on Xbox Wire.
The Forza 5 Limited Edition, available for pre-order for $79.99, includes two car packs: the Limited Edition car pack and Day One car pack. The Limited Edition pack gives players access to five cars at the top of their class with limited edition livery — the 2011 Audi RS3 Sportback, 2012 Aston Martin Vanquish, 2013 Ford M Shelby Mustang GT500, 2013 McLaren P1 and 2013 SRT Viper GTS. The Day One car pack comes with the 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe, 2013 Ford Focus ST and 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, all in Xbox One Day One-themed livery.
The Limited Edition also includes VIP Membership, which grants users access to special player rewards, exclusive events and in-game player car badges and gifts from the Forza team. Membership also comes with a five-car pack including the 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C, 1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird, 1991 Mazda #55 787B, 2011 Ford F150 SVT Raptor and 2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
The Limited Edition will come in a steelbook case and include a car decal sheet featuring Xbox One, Forza 5 and Audi decals, as well as $9.99 in car tokens, which is 1,250 tokens of Forza 5’s in-game currency.
The Day One edition, available for $59.99 and also up for pre-order, includes the Day One car pack and special Day One themed packaging that matches the design of the Xbox One Day One edition console.
Forza 5 will launch exclusively for the Xbox One. The game will be playable next week at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
