E313: Deus Ex: HR Director’s Cut for 360
The many fine improvements of the Wii U’s Director’s Cut edition of Deus Ex: Human Revolutionshall come to other platforms after all, Square Enix announced today, reversing its earlier decision. The reworked edition, which includes revamped boss battles and developer commentary, will launch for PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 as well as Wii U "later this year."
"After our Director’s Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of Human Revolution to other platforms," Stéphane D’Astous, general manager of developer Eidos Montreal, said in the announcement. "We’re thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, ’You asked for this!’"
The Director’s Cut brings improved graphics and AI, tweaks to combat, a major reworking of the widely disliked boss fights, the DLC integrated seamlessly, and eight hours of commentary.
If you have a Microsoft SmartGlass device or PlayStation Vita, those can work in the same way as the Wii U GamePad, letting you hack and navigate other menus by touch.
