New Saints Row IV trailer; Dubstep CE announced
You enter the world naked and screaming, and if you’re the leader of the Third Street Saints and President of the United States, that’s how you spend a significant amount of your adulthood too. Volition has released a new trailer for Saints Row 4, which explains the plot and does so mostly in the buff.
We get to see a nice parody of Hollywood’s overwrought drama, a concise summary of the aliens’ virtual world prison that drives the game, and lots of blurry parts around our hero’s midsection. Check it out below.
[Also], publisher Deep Silver is offering a new Collector’s Edition for Saints Row 4 that should help players feel a bit more presidential when they enter the White House to battle an alien invasion on August 20. Come on, who doesn’t want a dubstep gun?
The "Super Dangerous Wub Wub" CE, available while supplies last for $99.99, offers a 12-inch replica of the weapon as its centerpiece, even mimicking the sounds and tunes from the game. A statue of Saints badass Johnny Gat is also included, along with a "pocket-sized Doomsday Dubstep button." If that isn’t enough over-the-top tchotchkes, all of the in-game items from thepreviously announced Commander-in-Chief pre-order edition are in there as well.
The game will be coming out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
