Ninja Gaiden 3: RE will use Smartglass
The upcoming enhanced Xbox 360 version of the formerly Wii U exclusive port of the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of Ninja Gaiden 3, Razors Edge, will have support for second-screen gameplay, Team Ninja has announced. That means Xbox owners will be able to better emulate the experience of playing a Wii U launch game.
While both the Xbox and Wii versions of Razors Edge feature second screen enhancements, their functions are actually quite different. In the Wii U version of the game, the GamePad is used to select different weapons, perform Ninpo, and view additional game information. The Xbox 360 version is focused on watching and sharing videos. Players will be able to watch strategy videos based on their in-game location to get help. In addition, theyll be able to upload videos from the game through the SmartGlass app.
The Xbox 360 version of Razors Edge will be available on April 2nd.
