Skyrim Dragonborn DLC out this week on Xbox 360
The Dragonborn DLC for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is out this week on Xbox 360. PC and PlayStation 3 players are used to waiting for their versions because of the exclusivity deal for the Microsoft console, but at least now Bethesda is narrowing the release window.
In a Bethblog post, the company revealed that the other versions will hit "early next year." It is a bit puzzling that the PC version has been held back, since the exclusivity deal should have ended after Hearthfire. The PS3 delay is not surprising since Bethesda and Sony have yet to work out the kinks that have kept both Dawnguard and Hearthfire DLC from working on the console. We (Shacknews) contacted Bethesda for an explanation on the exclusivity deal and to see if the PS3 DLC is any closer to reality, but we have as of yet received no response.
If you own a Xbox 360, though, be prepared to drop 1600 Microsoft points on the DLC when it is released tomorrow (Dec. 4th). Thats $20 when you PC and PS3 folks have access to it next year.
