Hackers get an early start on Battlefield 3
While the Battlefield 3 beta has only been active for a few days, many of us have found the game to be full of game breaking bugs, glitches and so much more. While most of us sat there and hoped that DICE managed to fix any and all issues in time for the release of Battlefield 3, a group of hackers has decided to not rest on their haunches and instead take the virtual fight to DICE.
Using their crafty hacking skills, the group of hackers has cracked the Battlefield 3 code and accessed the files needed to host their own server and in doing so removed the player limit and allowed for up to 128 people, yes 128 (64x2) people to play on the Operation Metro map at one time. This however, did not sit well with EA (gee, who couldnt see that coming) as they have threatened to ban anyone who logs on to these unofficial server games to play in these hacked sessions. What will happen to the hacker group who did this, and what does this mean for Battlefield 3, DICE, EA, and us? Only time will tell.
