Red Faction: Armageddon Delayed to May 2011
A new THQ release calendar shows Red Faction Armageddon being pushed back to May 2011, with a number of other games also receiving rough launch windows.
The new Red Faction title was originally slated for March 2011, which is a month crammed with everything from Dragon Age II to a potential Nintendo 3DS launch. Pushing the game out of 2011 will allow THQ a bit more breathing room.
The calendar spanning April 2011 to March 2012 also showed MX vs. ATV Alive launching in Spring 2011, and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine being out in the summer.
With Red Faction being moved out of the current fiscal year, which ends March 31, THQ has lowered its revenue expectations from roughly $845 million to between $800 million and $825 million. The publisher also expects to post a loss for the fiscal year. Theyll be ending the year with Homefront, which will be out February 2011.
