Remedy Chats Alan Wake 2
For a developer that refuses to confirm outright whether or not Alan Wake 2 will happen, there’s a whole lot of sequel talk coming from Remedy.
Speaking to the latest issue of OXM on the topic of plot twists, turns and cliffhangers, head of franchise development Osarki Hakkinen said, "The pieces will start to fall together."
"The first episode is The Signal and shortly after that we’ll follow with The Writer and if there’s one thing we can promise it’s by the end of The Writer you’ll definitely know where we’re going to go with Alan Wake."
"We not going to leave you on a cliffhanger. Our plan was that Alan Wake is Season One, core story, the DLC bridges to where we’re possibly going to go, and then Season Two is a full story."
"You don’t even need to have played Season One to enjoy Season Two - they’re full story arcs."
Sounds to us like Hakkinen knows exactly what’s going to happen in "Season 2".
Remedy has even described the tone of the Wake sequel and yet still insists it isn’t confirmed. Such teasing.
