(RUMOR) - Sega Making Natal-Compatible "Sonic Free Riders"
With Microsofts big Natal unveiling coming up, we have word of yet another game we can expect to play with the controller-free motion control device. Joystiq reports that, according to a "superspy," Sega is planning to announce Sonic Free Riders, a new Sonic racing game with Natal-compatible controls.
Reportedly, the game will have players steering their characters on screen with their bodily movements. Theyll also "reach out toward the screen" to pick up weapons, and use more arm waving to use those weapons to attack other players. Sonic Free Riders will, according to this source, be released as a digital download on Xbox Live Arcade.
This is all still unconfirmed by either Sega or Microsoft, but Sega has shown early motion control support with Sonic in the past. Well certainly find out how accurate the report is once Microsoft kicks off their pre-E3 Natal world premier event on June 13.
