THQ to release voice-based truth-detecting game
Earlier today, THQ announced Truth or Lies, a new game for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii that will utilize a specially-developed voice recognition system to determine whether players are answering "truth or dare" style questions honestly.
Truth or Lies, which is being touted as a "’truth or dare’ style party game" by THQ will include over 3,000 pre-created questions, as well as a mode that allows players to ask questions on the spot. The game will allow up to eight players to take part in the fun bouts of disclosure.
The technology incorporated into the game will apparently be compatible with USB microphones as well as the Xbox 360’s wireless model, and will measure the stress level in players’ voices to determine the level of truthiness.
