Overall: Truely an enjoyable game. There are enough extras in the game to keep the interest alive. The tracks are very diverse and challeging. Throw in the weather affects and the game brings out a sense of realism (though the crashes do not seem that realistic)Gameplay: Control in the game is rather intuitive. The learning curve for the buttons is small. It becomes more of a 'sense of feel' to excel at this game. That is why I believe it is truely a race-lovers game.
Graphics: Good depth of enviroments and road surfaces. Racing in a thunderstorm is pretty cool. The lightning adds a nice touch in the rain. The bikini-clad girl holding the umbrella at the start of the race is somewhat of a mystery...
Audio: This is a bit of a let-down. The bikes do not sound like sport bikes. They sound more like a fine-tuned weed-wacker. I would have expected a little more bass in the engine sounds with some exhaust popping when you let off the throttle.
Suggestions: OK. You can play 4-player split screen and there is a System Link option. So, why can't you have an 8-player race on two systems? Why is there only one player per Xbox in link play? My friends an I were ready for some hard 8-player racing, but it is not an option. It seems like that would be a given with System Link. What happened?!
