UFC: Tapout
Overall: Ever since I got this game I've been hooked on it. I usually don't like fighting games; however, this game is definetely an exception. This game lacks variation in single player modes, but is great to play with friends if you have any.
Gameplay: The gameplay is what makes this game so great. Every character has totally different moves and submission techniques. Also everyone has a different style of fighting so that strategy is vital. For instance if fighting with Goodridge, a big strong guy, you want to get your opponent on the ground and pound him, where you will have an advantage. Tanner on the other hand is a kickboxer so he is only useful if he is standing up, but his kicks if delivered properly can lead to a fast knock out. Other guys like Shamrock are submission specialists and with him you want to mix up punch combinations and eventually surprise the opponent with a tap out.
Needless to say this game is very deep and there are so many different types of fighters that you can choose to match your personal style. A strategy guide is highly recommended to get the most out of the game.
Graphics: The visuals are not too impressive but they are nice. I was hoping that blood would be coming out of cuts more realistically and the characters sort of slide as they walk. Other then this it is an average game graphics wise, not a stunner like DOA3 for instance.
Audio: Sound is not something I pay attention to too much in a game. The fans cheer your name sometimes and there are various sounds that you hear while fighting. The sound is 'average'.
Suggestions: As usual please allow custom sound tracks to be entered into the game, and an online mode :)
