Overall: Hockey is a natural choice for a online game, and being a LIVE subscriber I was enticed by it's online prospects. Gameplay: The gameplay options are of the regular variety, ie; Franchise, Quick Match etc.
The actual gameplay itself is so customizable that no two player settings are ever identicle. That is a good thing, the bad thing is that the interface used is atroshis. Over compartmentalized to say the least.
Graphics: All I can think of, in terms of graphics for this game is N64ish! Horrible, I faintly remember Commodore 64 games that had better visuals than this game. Very poor by XBox standards to say the least. Player models are horrendus, the on ice visuals are usually so dark you can't make out the team your controlling. It's sad when your best graphical feature is the fans, which are very nicely done, compared with those from NHL 2003.
Audio: Exceptable. Commentary is good, on ice sound is par for the course. Nothing to blow you away. Average at best.
Suggestions: Holy, this game looks rushed! The graphics need a major overhall, the customization is the best part. The rest needs work!
