Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay

Overall: I rented this game because it received distinguished ratings. I'm glad to say that it deserves such a high rating. I will probably go out and buy it if I can come up with some cash. If you own an XBox, then this is a game you should own. I hold it second only to Halo. It also gives you insight into the world of Riddick. Whether you liked Pitch Black or if you have even seen The Chornicles of Riddick yet, this game is still sweet. Riding around in the mech suit at the end of the game is also a total blast... Literally! Interacting with the inmates and guards is a hoot as well.

Gameplay: No major complaints here. The controls are decent and never cause too much aggravation. Jumping to ledges is a little tricky sometimes but otherwise... Flawless.

Graphics: Simply put... Stunning! I just wish I had an HDTV so I could really put the graphics to justice. I've played the beta version of Doom 3 with the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro videocard. With and HDTV, the graphics for this game rival those of Doom 3. Trust me. Plus, the character model looks exactly like it's movie counterpart.

Audio: The fact that Vin Diesel actually does the voice of Riddick is good enough. Xzibit even makes a voiceover cameo as the "lovable" Abbott. Not to mention, the ambient sounds and gloomy soundtrack seem to go well with the whole prison atmosphere.

Suggestions: This game is little on the short side. I don't care about multiplayer too much but I do like the Co-Op feature in Halo... Otherwise, great job!
