Halo 2
Overall: Insanity beyond every conception of the imagination.
...yeah, it's that good...
however, certain things must be overlooked for this to be true.
some graphical glitches, and sound stuttering come to mind, but not much else.
Gameplay: The gameplay...what can I say...the ending was the biggest disappointment in the history of anything that has ever been disappointing.
However, the multiplayer is paying for itself.
Multiplayer...those Gods at Bungie have done it again...times a thousand...
Xbox live halo is what we have all been waiting for.
Sure, halo had xbconnect after a while, but that doesn't even come close.
Graphics: The graphics are amazing. However, due to the limitations of the console, certain sacrifices had to be made. (Sometimes it becomes annoying, however, when you see the world drawn up in front of you when you are trying to watch a cinematic).
Also due to the limitations of the Xbox, unfortunately, it looks like Half-Life beat it out in the graphics department. But they are still pretty freakin good.
Audio: Astounding. Being an avid fan of the music, there is no doubt in my mind that O'Donnell has outdone himself on this chapter. Incubus, Hoobastank, and Breaking Benjamin's work also was very nicely done.
The sound effects were amazing. Being able to track where a rocket is coming from in time to get out of the way is the best defence mechanism ever.
Suggestions: Please try to tell a complete story in single player. People hate hangers like that, because it means waiting another three years for Halo 3. Halo was great because it could have stood alone as a story. As far as multiplayer goes, I bow to you guys, you did it again.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Overall: Overall, good job. Storyline is great, nice twists and great concept. LOVE the bonus classic POP games; nice touch. Also, the camera control, and the auto camera angle switches...very enjoyable.
Gameplay: Nice acrobatics, and nice idea for the fight engine. However, i agree with some of the other guys on how the sand creatures just appear at the end of a save point. Not really enticing how the final boss is easier than most of the first weaklings. Also, the time control has little effect during a battle, being only 10 seconds of support. Other than that, running on walls is freakin sweet.
One thing that I was wondering is how anyone can find this fight engine hard. I've heard complaints that when you get knocked down, you get pummelled by the other creatures. however, as soon as you are knocked down, they leave you a nice little gap in the action to get up.
Graphics: Best graphics I've yet seen overall in an xbox game. Only complaint: (tho it might just be my tv) is that the blood looked like more of a fushia than a red to me...
Audio: Great music. Love the persian/rock style. Especially noted is fight music, and a nice little touch: when you drink, a sultry little number comes to your ears...
Suggestions: Definitely adjust the fight engine. not to be made an rpg, keep it this way, just maybe give him more moves. Got tired of either slashing or vaulting after a while. Other than that, you've made an amazing game.
