Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY Edition
Overall: The first RPG for XBOX just got better with Morrowind: Game Of The Year Edition. This is no-doubt, one of the best RPG's ever made in this generation of videogames.
Gameplay: The gameplay is non-linear, and you can do whatever you want in Morrowind:GOTY. You can either play the main quest first, or do the side quests (i.e: faction and great house quests). After you've finished both, you can come back and finish the Tribunal and Bloodmoon quests that would give you 100 hours of quality RPG goodness!
Graphics: I've noticed that some textures in the game have been improved over the previous game. Also, I'd like to point out that the framerate and draw distance in GOTY is waaaay better than Morrowind: Platinum Hit.
As usual, GOTY displays a breathing and vibrant world. It is probably one of the best digital worlds ever produced in a videogame!
Add Solstheim's(bloodmoon) winter atmosphere and M urban atmosphere and the graphics in this game is just plain superior over Morrowind: Platinum Hit.
Audio: The epic music in the background is extremely repetitive, but I couldn't have asked for a better background music.
Overall, the sound in GOTY is decent, but it features some of the craziest sound effects in the most unexpected moments(thunder sound effect anyone?).
Suggestions: Kudos to Bethesda for giving us RPG lovers the TRUE Morrowind game. The first one can't compare to what GOTY offers IMO. Fact, there's no point of buying Morrowind: Platinum Hit because GOTY is the "Morrowind" game to get!
