Halo 2
Overall: A good game over hyped, Alot of improvement from the first but lacks what to first game had. Still right up there as a legendary game but online play is overated and dependant to much on luckGameplay: Heartbreaking is all i can say! i really hate the new health system. in halo one i liked to run aqnd gun, just charge into the largest amount of enemy and slay them down, impossible in halo 2 no matter what level you play it on anymore that 3 covenent shoot at you your dead in seconds, the sheild drains so fast and theres no life system. bring back old health, i like the new weapons exept the pistol.
Graphics: Visuals are great but the only reason it doesnt get the full 5 is for the slight loading lag in cut scenes, its as if it takes a wee half second for rendering to catch up.
Audio: the score isnt as good as halo 1 but still really good. it lacks the grip the music from the first game did
Suggestions: GEt back to what worked, dump the new health system and more MC!

Hunter: The Reckoning
Overall: I Have extremely mixed feeling about this game, i had got rapped up in the hype, i had to wait forever for it to come out here in scotland and when i did i ran to the shop to buy it and loved it, lvel one the three i was thinking way what a !&%$@#* in' game, level 4-7 i was thinking still pretty good, then after that it dropped and dropped untill i hate this game, i completed it in two days and it is the most repetative game in this world (possible exeptions serious sam but that was fun) i played through as Spencer "Duece" Wyatt the biker ex-on with the axe and all i did in the !&%$@#* game was swing the damn thing saving my guns for tuff spots or pathetic bosses, to anyone thinking about buying this game it should have been a great game but it is just to rapeatative you kill over 5,000 kills and almost every single one is done in the exact same way, rent it complete it take it back and never think of it. you wont regret it do not BUY THIS GAME RENT IT! RENT IT!Gameplay: Yeah, you think if i said the word repetative 5000 times it would click, never the less an esy game to with, amera can be a pain in the Ass but killing zombies and such is extremely easy you run through a bunch of the swinging you axe or swordkill some, turn around and do the same and then do the same untill they are all dead then do the same for the whole !&%$@#* game, story is ok but drags, levels are relativle short but there are 29, 29 levels of the same thing oh sorry exept level three were you have to walkthrough a graveyard and protect a little girl (whoop-de-do). Co-op suchs so bad you cant walk to far apart and it takes double power to kill a boss even though it still gives you the same amout of ammo, game play only really suchs beause of repatition, bosses and bad co-op play, i bet your thinkin well what the hell is good about it, well so was i
Graphics: Graphics were aexellent, amera was a bit far out to see them, but you can zoom in but if you do that you cant see the zombies coming to get you so a pointless function, cut scennes were average and the end video sucked ass, i saved 65 people to see this crap i felt robbed.
Audio: Chop, chop, chop ,chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop,
apart from the little burts of music from a reasonble band called coma it was dull, now reepy atmosphere nothing.
Suggestions: unless you have any ideas for making this game more than jus a chop, chop boring game then give up, it could have been so good but no you gone and screwed it up, oh and yeah zombies in a mansion been done before.

Halo: Combat Evolved
Overall: OK. I'll admit it i was a doubter i seen the graphic and i thought they are OK but ould be easly match on the ahem. PS2 " i apologize for saying it" But don't you just love it when you are suprised by how good a game is when you aren't expecting it, But i waited the long wait untill March 14th got my XBOX home hocked it up and stuck in halo, I still have carpet burns on the bottom of my chin 'cause my jaw just dropped man! I had pleyed it for 5 minutes before that at an xbox xperiene and couldn't get the hang of the controls, i didn't know were to go it was really screwed up, but in my house it was 5 minutes it took me to get the controls (after the 10 minutes from getting my jaw from the floor) and let the killing comence. If you only buy one game with the xbox BUY HALO you will not regret it i swear. Gameplay: 5 minutes and you get the controls under raps and i was strongly suprised I never understood people who liked inverted controls everything back to front it made no sense to me, but it wasn't untill the silent cartographer (level 4) that i realized i was doing it, but i feels so right. another problem i was felling was that i am a hard core PC gamer and i find nothing better than a good FSP (first person shooter) games like Unreal and UT are my fravourite type of games so i wasn't sure and leaving my mouse and keyboard going to two anologue stick beause M&K is perfect for fsp and i had never really used anologue sticks the XBOX was my first console since the sega mega drive (genesis for non Scots) i just never bought into the playstation. So it is really different moving from a Three button D-pad to a 8-button Dual anologue controller But it was meet easily, i found myself using the anologue buttons without even realizing it, the buttons are so easy to learn my favourite is B the melee attack it rules!
Graphics: Thr first time i seen the game graphics i was not impressed i thought they ould have been matched on sony piece of SH*T! and then i played halo in my own house and discovered the reason why the aren't as detailed as game like DOA3 Is the size of the levels So i gave it a five for the visuals due the to the graphics is can produce at the one time and don't get me wrong the marines, cheif and captain keyes is really good but i thought a slight improvmenet was needed but the size of the levels i swear it took me and my freind 3 days to complete it in heroic mode thats after we played it solid for a fortnight and became xperts.
Audio: At the start menu it reminds so much of Ace Ventura: When nature calls the bit he is medatating And hes huming like AAAAAAAhhhhhhoooooaTY THEN! HAlo is exactly like that (apart from the alrighty then part) And the ingame music depend s on the action if you are not in combat the the music is slow and melow but if youre in medium combat the music is a bit faster paced but not too dramatic but when you are souronded and trying to make every shot perfect as you try to take down the large mass of on coming convenent the music is roaring and a great amount of excitment to the situation and your whole gaming xperience. the convenent chatter is hilarous as well as your own marines I killed one to see what happens and another marine turned around to me and said "did he owe you money or something?" they guys are funny
Suggestions: Keep up the good work and make more then one sequel but no more than 4, I think 3 games in a series is perfect, And don't keep us waiting to long for the sequal i can't wait to smash up that Blue monitor and more convenent chatter that is so funny. Thank god iv finished this review i an go play some more.

Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding
Overall: I have never been a big snowboarding fan, i only watched it a couple of times on winter x-games. But this game gave me a big slap across the face and opened my eyes to the sport!The game cannot be done any better the graphics are the !&%$@#* hot!, the gameplay is great and the music rules!
Gameplay: The first time i made my way down the slop after picking my jaw from the ground due to the graphics, controlling the boarder was a little difficult and i feel on my !&%$@#* trying to do a trick on the first ramp.
The second time i took off down the huge mountan i found it a little easier to control but still fell on my ass on the first ramp
the third time my boarder was under control he moved exactly were i wanted and at a speed i was comfortable i hit the ramp and went sky high pulled a triki that was totally bitchin! there was an overall sense of satisfaction.
what im saying is that that controlls
take a bit of getting used to but after 10-15 minutes you are incomplete controll, BUT this does mean it become easy OOOHH! NO the tricks get bigger your boarder gets better and the game moves up a toughness level, the game is so challenging but rewarding when you pull a super trick to be proud of you really do feel Good !!!

they way the game works is it's main bonus as i said earlier i was never a big snowboarding fan but this has converted the weaker part of my soul.
you can take so many routes down the mountain it'l be different every time and you can still show your stuff, and the main part of the game is to move your ass up the ranking and get sponsers and points for your boarder and you do this by getting points(there's a shock) but there is two types of points boarder points and media points, boarders points are the points you get for hitting a trick but the media points are an excellent advancement in snowboard games you have to pull trick infront of camera men and fellow boarders to gain respect and media points and both points combined move you up the rankings.

THIS GAME KICKS THE ASS OF ANY SNOWBOARDING GAME OF ANY CONSOLE!!!
Graphics: These are the worst graphics i have seen in my life!!!

the graphics are candy for the eyes,the slopes are so detailed it is unbelivable,the boarders look so real after 5 minutes of play you belive that they are real people as there lothes flap in the air and the expressions on there face.

Audio: This game has music for all tastes, as it has soundtracks on most music genre and if you don't like any of them (you are a freak!) tou can play your ripped music from your hard drive and get down to your own tunes

Suggestions: only a small problem with betting stuck behind buildings but you press back to get to the centre if the slope so no real problem but it would be better if you didn't have to
