Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
Overall: This is how a game should be done. It is certainly a classic. It is like a good book
that you can just not put down until the
end. Very intriguing and a very thought
provoking storyline
Gameplay: At first a little awkward, but once you get
the hang of it, it works very well. I very
much like the first person control
Graphics: For a port, quite impressive. It has a very
crisp appearence. But ultimately it is the
gameplay that brings you in so that the
graphics aren't as essential.
Audio: I loved the sound track. An excellent sese
of power and adventure. The subtle
environments are really good too.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
Midtown Madness 3
Overall: I am really surprised by how much positive attention this game is getting. It seems it
is peer pressure that is now driving the
rating up. It is a very dissapointing game.
BORING. The graphics are poor. Game
play is very bland compared to MC2. Eh.
Gameplay: The two cities are too similar and plain
boring after about twenty minutes of
running around. On line play is fun, true,
but MC2 is much more fun.
Graphics: Graphics are very sub par. The cars are
not anti-aliased, the environment is
blocking with poor textures. A big
dissapointment from microsoft.
Audio: It is fine- nothing fantastic but nothing
poor either. Sounds good in 5.1.
Probably the best part of the game.
Overall Score: 5.0 / 10
Midnight Club 2
Overall: This game is FUN!!!. Much more fun that MM3. It has great depth, very decent
graphics and very creative variation on
gameplay
Gameplay: The Single player missions are great and
help to get really aquainted with the game.
The Xbox live piece is outstanding.
Graphics: Excellent. I found it to be graphically very
pleasing and immersive. A step above the
PS2 version.
Audio: No probs here. Very nice soundtrack and
excellent 5.1 effects. I was surprised how
well the music fits the game
