FIFA Soccer 2004
Overall: I had the opportunity to play MLS Extra Time, Winning Eleven 6 and Fifa 2004. The true crown definitely goes to Fifa 2004,without question. The presentation, audio, commentary, and gameplay all combine to bring the gamer into the shoes of the best soccer players in the world. In addition, the FIFA 2004 controls are much more intuitive than Winning Eleven. Sorry, Winning Eleven fans, your game is not as fun and exhilirating as Fifa 2004. FIFA IS KING OF SOCCER ONCE AGAIN!Gameplay: FIFA 2004 is both intuitive and challenging. It plays at 60fps for the most part. The game has a low/moderate learning curve. The novice/intermediate player will be able to perform basic moves and still encounter an enjoyable experience. The advanced player, however, will be required to practice and hone their respective abilities. The game truly plays like a chess match. The offensive and defensive game play an equal part in winning. This, in essence, exemplifies the sport of soccer.
Graphics: FIFA 2004 provides a wide variety of authentic stadiums and player models. This really draws the player into the game. Unfortunately, the backgrounds and crowd seem a bit washed out.
Audio: The commentary and audio blend extremely well into the game. This includes the crowds and chants that blend extremely well in the gameplay. Although, the repetition of Motson and his cohert can become annoying. Otherwise, the audio is spot on.
Suggestions: I recommend working to lessen the repetition of the commentary. In addition, I would definitely incorporate a realtime climate control weather model. This would provide a true environmental simulation of the sport while enhancing the gameplay.

Inside Pitch 2003
Overall: INSIDE PITCH KING OF BASEBALL THIS YEAR!This is one of my favorite games. I consider it to be the best baseball game for the XBOX. Although many of the professional reviews seem to stray from this belief. This game was not designed to duplicate the exact features of other games. It was designed to simulate baseball. Of course, it is missing a franchise mode and replays. The game was made to focus on the 2002 season. In my professional opinion, Inside Pitch achieves this feat with flying colors. Of course, it's not perfect. There are very few games that achieve true perfection.
Gameplay: The stadiums, player animations, and faces are top notch. In addition, the pitcher/batter interface is extremely addictive. The AI does not allow a player to make the exact same play time and time again with flawless execution. This represents the realistic and sometimes unpredictable nature of baseball. The game is a true simulation with a bit of flare. I highly recommend purchasing Inside Pitch 2003.

Graphics: The stadiums are simply eye candy. Of course, the game needs objects such as birds, planes, blimps, shooting stars and other things worked into the game engine. The player faces and animations are well done, but need a bit of variety. Unfortunately, it seems to be missing replays and players in the dugout. Though it makes up for this with extremely addictive training and championship challenges.
Audio: The commentary is top notch, but suffers from too much repetition. The stadiums need more crowd related audio feeds.
