Forza Motorsport
Overall: The best racing game on xbox by far. It wouldn't even be bold to say that Forza more realistically captures the physics of driving than Gran Turismo 4. It is great how you earn more money in career mode by turning off assists and turning up the difficulty.
Gameplay: Career mode is where it is at. Xbox Live is also very much off the hook. Progession through single player is steady and the game is never too hard.
Graphics: The graphics are solid, not flashy. What is excellent is the amount of damage you can deal out to your car.
Audio: The music kinda sucks... at least you can use your ripped music. It was great that my RX-8 actually sounded like a lawnmower.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Full Spectrum Warrior
Overall: Overall, this game is tizzight. From what I have played I have totally enjoyed. Perspective is third person and overall the game is polished. The AI could be tightened up a bit( how many ******* times do I have to tell my squad to take cover?) Overall very good. Replay value could be limited but regular content DL should solve the problem.
Gameplay: Basically the whole game is a set of missions, which you can play by your lonesome self or with a buddy. It is much more fun playing over XBL, and for those wondering, there is NO splitscreen. Like I said before this is third person and NOT a shooter. Instead, you are the eye in the sky commanding the chaos. Some people might not like that they are not actually doing the shooting, but I find it a nice relief from just a boring FPS. You need to use strategy to survive otherwise you will end up dead quick. My only real gameplay complaint is the fact that sometimes your squadmates do really STUPID ****. Most of the time though, this is not a big problem.
Graphics: Graphics are pretty good. They could have been better, but it is nice enough. The explosions are cool, cause everybody loves to see **** get blowed up. :)
Audio: One of the strongest aspects. When the poo hits the fan, your surround sound will let you know. Also, hearing what your squadmates had to say was funny. They definately aren't G-rated!
Suggestions: As always content DL extends the life of any game, so please help a brother out.
Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Overall: An excellent and totally original take on the stealh-game genre. The single player is challenging and fun but the meat of the game is in its totally original and balanced multiplayer. Giving straight fives may sound like high praise, but this game is the shiznit.
Gameplay: The single player story is kinda confusing again, but this time around they made it easier on the player with the Alarm Stages. The multiplayer is where it is at, and if you don't have Xbox Live, I can't say that I recommend it as strongly. You will spend hours play game modes that have more depth than has been demonstrated in recent years.
Graphics: The graphics are likely the max of what the Unreal engine and the Xbox can do. The shadows and lighting effects return in style and look better than ever.
Audio: Turn the speakers up and you will know that game is more than pretty graphics and sweet gameplay. The ambient sound totally puts you in the environment.
Suggestions: Sweet game. Perhaps if you had Downloadable gadgets, weapons and maps, you could extend the life of the game for a really long time.
