Robotech: Battlecry

Overall: I bought the game because of a couple reviews. I kept thinking I was just missing something because it was so bad. I could swear I was playing a Nintendo 64. Maybe I have come to expect so much more by playing games such as Halo, RalliSport, Gotham and so on.

Gameplay: If you liked Nintendo 64, this game is great. I loved the 64 when it was the best thing out there, but there has been much advances in technology.

Graphics: Again, if you liked Nintendo 64, this game will make you feel right at home. It had a real cartoonish look. Not much texture detail. I have come to expect more realism. For example, missle and bullet trails are pretrty much "old" solid lines, I mean if you appreciate the realistic looking smoke effects in many games today, you will definitely be disappointed.

Audio: The sound was the best part of this game, but it was not good. It has a real "arcade" sound. I did not detect any stereo or surround effect.

Suggestions: From a company financial standpoint, I would suggest keep doing what they are doing because the game was $50 bucks, the same as Halo and other games that surely must have been much more expensive to develop. But if you want my money in the future, quit porting inferior games.
