Robotech: Battlecry
Overall: This game is the best Robotech game ever created. It actually captures the feel of the war between the SDF-1 and the Zentreadi. I was waiting for this game for a long time and I have to say that I am not disappointed at all. This game is great, the bosses are difficult and the story line is fantastic. I truly enjoy playing it because it's Robotech and also because I haven't seen a game that mimics a cartoon so well.Gameplay: The controls take some getting use to especially because there are three different configurations for your Veritech fighter. All in all the game is very smooth and you feel like your really in heavy combat with your enemy. The only problem I see is with the camera angles, I often find myself shooting off the screen at my enemy. This isn't so bad on the story mode but it really makes the versus mode more difficult.
Graphics: The graphics are top, they really mimic the color and style of the cartoon very well. I enjoy just flying around and looking at the cool effects. It's fun to get real close to an enemy ship, change to battleoid mode and stand on top of it shooting down the enemy pods that fly by.
Audio: The sound is right from the cartoon. All of the music and explosions, even the sound of the battloid walking on the ground is straight from the anime.
