Aggressive Inline
Overall: Aggressive Inline is the best extreme sports game to come out in a while. It breaks away from the norm and sets a new standard for other games to live up to. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this product.
Gameplay: For anyone who has played Tony Hawk, you will jump right into this game. Even if you have never even heard of the Tony Hawk series, you will be able to pick this up and do 540 tweaked judo grabs in the first few minutes. The 'Juice' system is innovative and allows for much more freedom and larger levels, and you can immerse yourself in the game for hours. If you're expecting a true Inline video game, without insane jumps or extravagant locales, i suggest you look for a a different title, because this title is just about as insane as they come.
Graphics: The visuals are spectacular. From the giant levels to the clothes billowing in the wind as you skate, it is a visual treat. The skater's motions are fluid and the way their bodies bend and lean as they try to maintain balance on a long grind is exquisite. The only real problem I could find with the visuals is Chrissy. The first time I saw her skate backwards, I said 'Wow,' but after that, I realized that it was just insensitive to make her so jiggly. But overall, expect nothing but high quality graphics in this game.
Audio: The sound effects in this game were alright, but nothing really leaped out at me. I really enjoyed the playlist system, where you add songs from both the game CD and your own soundtracks, but a lot of my tracks were left out, and this got annoying. Improve the sound effects and playlist, and the sound will be great.
Suggestions: Create-a-Skater option, we've had it since Tony Hawk 2 and I think every game is incomplete without them. Tone down the female figures in the game. other than that, great job!
