World Series Baseball (Sega)
Overall: I personally enjoy the sports games and this was by far my favorite baseball game. If I had the money to buy it I would do so, but money is always a factor for now. The game is great especially when playing with friends, so it has great overall appeal.
Gameplay: The game is easy to learn and play. There's really not a lot to be said about it, because there's really nothing bad about it except on one playing mode you lose the box when batting and I had a hard time hitting the ball.
Graphics: The game had really good graphics. When looking at most of the players you could tell who they were right away and the way they were animated with batting stance gave a feel for the player as well. The crowd left something to be desired though.
Audio: The sounds were good. When you hit a ball it actually sounded like it and it had the stadium music as well. The commentators had a variety of things to say, so it didn't really get monotinous.
Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 SSX Tricky
Overall: This has got to be one of my favorite games to play. I love the characters different attitudes and the diversity in different levels. The music isn't bad, but you really don't notice it that much since you're continually trying new tricks.
Gameplay: The gameplay is great. Some moves are somewhat hard to pull off, but if you practice them you'll get the hang of it. I love being able to interact with the other boarders, by knocking them down of pushing them out of your way. Each level offers it's own unique styling, so you never feel like you're playing the same thing over and over.
Graphics: It's meant to be an arcade type game and that is exactly what it looks like. Their is not a lot of detail, but the graphics are still very good and with an arcade you want things to be a little cartoony.
Audio: Sound is pretty good. The boarders have very few lines, so you get tired of hearing the same thing. The music isn't bad, but it would be nice to add your own playlist.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Spider-Man
Overall: This game is great. I was skeptical about it due to the arguments over the camera angles, but it's really not a problem. The characters have been recreated to comic book detail and look great. It follows the movie pretty well with great cut scenes and added levels for the XBOX.
Gameplay: Like I said before the only drawback of the game is the camera angle, but you get used to it and learn how to control it. The fighting moves are easy to perform and there are plenty of them. There is also a few different tricks to be performed with the webbing. The best part of the game is when webswinging through the city and getting into aerial combat.
Graphics: Visually the game is very impressive. The surroundings are pretty good and the character detail and animation is great.
Audio: The movie has good sound with crisp and clear dialogue and monologue. The fighitng sound effects are very good and again the dialogue during play keeps you into the game.
Overall Score: 9.0 / 10
